Sun Nrula Group
Sun Nrula Group is a number of international firms operating for half a Century in the field of hospital designs and hospitals' renovations. The Group has rehabilitated more than 700 hospital in India and other countries. The group was the basic founder of most of the health sector installations there. The Group's Chairman, Mr. P. K. Narula visited Yemen mid of December 2006 invited by Dr. Abdulkader Al-Mutawakel
the General Manager of Dr. Abdulkader Al-Mutawakel Hospital and agreed to conduct a number of surprising additions to the Yemeni health sector. Dr. Abdulkader Al-Mutawakel invited a number of international Consultants for the development of Dr. Abdulkader Al-Mutawakel hospital in particular and the health sector in general.
The guest in a press interview said, " I was surprised by the Yemeni medical level and the achievements in medical results". One of the major projects is the "Telemedicine" which is a new medical system for the communication between Doctors via satellite for immediate diagnoses with least effort. Mr. Narula said, " This system covers large areas without transporting the patient from one place to another. Yemen requires such a system for the communication between Doctors and hospitals allover Yemen and to be in contact with international hospitals regarding the patient's diagnoses without sending the patient abroad. This system helps the patient to get the best medical technical services quickly. " The International Professor added, " Dr. Abdulkader Al-Mutawakel Hospital is the pioneer that is going to implement this system within two years. What is required is the Government and Health Authorities cooperation and approval on the exchange of medical information via satellites." Why Dr. Abdulkader Al-Mutawakel Hospital was selected for the implementation of such project, the Professor said, " All the modern and high quality medical services are available at this hospital and the high quality medical staff working in the hospital not less than other international hospital medical staff. We intend to expand our cooperation with Dr. Abdulkader Al-Mutawakel particularly after the opening of the new hospital that will be supplied with the requirements in accordance with the highest international specifications. For example there will be a developed Ambulance Service that can deal with various diseases that saves the patient's life during his transport. We expect that the hospital would be able to deal with the disasters and emergencies with efficiency and proficiency medical standards." Professor Narula added, "Dr. Abdulkader Al-Mutawakel is trying to build ambitious, unique and integral hospital equipped with up to date equipment. It will take from 6 months to 12 months."
Professor Narula called the Yemeni Government to invest in health sector and support the private sector that invests in this sectoron the "P.P.P" basis that means land partnership, exemption from customs duties and other investment facilities."
Professor Narula's ambitious program and his Group will make Dr.Abdulkader Al-Mutawakel Hospital one of the best quality hospital in the region and will be a one of Yemen's badge of honors.
